Biography
MARLEY PULIDO
Campaign Organizer
Marley Pulido is a Cuban-born, Washington, DC-based community organizer and independent archivist. Most of Marley’s advocacy work has focused on multi-issue and intersectional campaigns. Early in his career, he launched a local campaign that grew into a statewide effort to fight wage theft in Northern Virginia. He later had the privilege of coaching Kickstarter employees as they built one of the first tech workers’ union. He has also worked on historic electoral campaigns, including the 2017 campaign that helped lead to the expansion of Medicaid in Virginia.
As a working dad, advocating for kids is his priority these days. During his time at Save the Children Action Network, he led a regional lawmaker, candidate, and voter engagement strategy that helped secure early education and child nutrition policy wins in Louisiana, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Virginia.
In his free time, Marley loves going on long bike rides, visiting art museums, and researching Black Cuban history.
