Biography
ELEANOR SMEDBERG
VICE PRESIDENT
Eleanor is 18 and is in their second year as a Classical Voice major at Montgomery College. Eleanor joined YPP last year and quickly became involved in YPP’s police-free traffic campaign. Since then, they’ve been doing a lot of great outreach work in classrooms and clubs around Montgomery College. According to Eleanor, organizing is important for young people because “you live here.” They want people to remember that they’re allowed to change things and are allowed to live and stay in a place that’s good for them. In the future, Eleanor wants to graduate from Montgomery College, finish university in Maryland, and continue their singing career in Washington, DC.
